Hardscape Landscaper

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced landscaper with strong hardscape skills who takes pride in their work and can confidently deliver landscape construction tasks from set-out to finish.

At Ace, we create complete landscapes. Your hardscape skills are an important part of that work, and you’ll also get involved in planting, lawns, irrigation and the finishing details alongside the rest of the crew. You’ll bring your strengths, share what you know, and keep building your broader landscaping skills.

This is a full-time, permanent role in Franklin, Auckland.

What You’ll Bring

• At least three years of hands-on experience, with strong hardscape ability.
• Confidence building retaining walls, including set-out, footings, drainage and backfill.
• Confidence building decks and timber structures, including framing, levels, fixings and a clean finish.
• A full NZ Class 1 driver licence, with the ability to drive a manual vehicle and confidently tow and reverse trailers.
• Confidence operating compact machinery such as 1.7 tonne diggers, Kanga, Toro, loaders and small bobcats.
• A willingness to contribute across both hard and soft landscaping, work well with others, and take responsibility for the quality of your work.

A Landscape Construction qualification or trade experience in building or carpentry is an advantage.
